Another BOY!!!!!

I am just realizing that I never updated the blog to let everyone know that we are indeed having another little boy! Of course, I think most of you who read this blog already knew that. Just in case someone was still in the dark.....now you know!

It's been 5 months!

Sorry for the delay in posting.....a lot has happened in the past 5 months! We recovered from Boston's 1st birthday only to realize that we are raising a MONKEY! If there is something in our house that can be climbed then Boston is determined to climb it! Needless to say, he is learning so many new things everyday and keeping us very busy! So, what has been going on since the last post? I will try to be brief.....

Ryan finished up a great first season with his new football team and we are now getting ready for baseball!

We had a great time visiting with family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Two days after Christmas, Ryan and I left for Peru! Obviously, Boston did not go with us. He enjoyed some time with his Mae Mae! Ryan and I were blessed to be able to love on some beautiful children and see what God is doing in some very desperate places. We were mainly in Pisco, Peru. This is a city that was hit a little over a year ago by an 8 point earthquake.....a very desperate place! But it is amazing to see how God is moving in that place! We will be uploading some pictures of our trip to the Shutterfly page sometime this week.

And last but not least on our list of news since the last post (I am leaving so many things out)......Boston is going to be a BIG BROTHER! We will be welcoming our second child in late June. I promise to post in about three weeks when we find out if it is a boy or girl!

Boston is One!

I can not begin to express what an amazing first year we have had with Boston! The Lord has blessed us beyond measure and we are excited to see what He has in store for us as we continue to raise Boston and teach him about our great God and Father. It certainly does not seem like a year since he was born; but looking back through this blog is evidence of that blessed year. Boston had a fun first birthday and was surrounded by so many people that love him very much! He loved and continues to love his presents. He also LOVED his birthday cake as you can see from the pictures! Some of these photos were taken the week before his party. I am also loading an album to Shutterfly. Enjoy the pictures and know that we feel very blessed to have you as a part of Boston's life!

I had to add these two pictures. One is of Boston's first minor league baseball game. The other one is quite hilarious. We were over at our friends Chris and Erin's house the other night and Boston saw something in the bottom of Anna and Clay's toy box that he had to have. Unfortunately, he got stuck in the process!
